Tribute to 1991 Topps

Despite all my sabermetric inclinations it's still fun to celebrate batting average from time to time. I think a high batting average makes for an exciting player. Consider Mike Aviles. He doesn't walk, doesn't strike out. Always putting the ball in play, usually not out of the park, either.
He's a career .298 hitter in the bigs. Were it not for an injury plagued 2009 he'd be well above .300.
