Replacing one owner in my fantasy baseball keeper league -- interested?

We're replacing one owner in my keeper league this year.
I'm looking for somebody who loves baseball and loves to play fantasy baseball at a high level. Most of us have been playing for a long time and are uber competitive about it.
Last year every single person was active the entire year. So suffice to say we have a really great group of people.

I've been playing since 1994.

Keepers
Keep four, no round values attached. You can keep each player a maximum of three consecutive times.
Roster
The available roster is pretty good. You've got a good start with Prince Fielder, Grady Sizemore and Mark Reynolds. Lester, Martinez, Figgins, Youkilis are also good possibilities.
If you keep fewer than four, you get those slots as open draft picks. It's not a bad strategy. One owner dropped his entire team last year and finished second, so you can rebuild quickly. He got Manny, Crawford, Holliday and Morneau, who were available due to some very stacked teams that could only keep four.
Here is the full roster.
c - Victor Martinez
1b - Prince Fielder (2)
2b - Chone Figgins
3b - Kevin Youkilis (1)
ss - Clint Barmes
of - Alex Rios
of - Vernon Wells
of - Denard Span
ut - Mark Reynolds
bn - Grady Sizemore
sp - Jon Lester (1)
sp - Gavin Floyd
sp - Clay Buchholz
sp - Joe Blanton
sp - Ervin Santana
rp - Francisco Rodriguez
rp - Ryan Franklin
bn - Brian Bannister
dl - Erik Bedard
dl - Brett Myers
I'd be interested in joining. I've never played a keeper league before though. I have played fantasy baseball every year since 2001. I think you can check out my Yahoo profile, powerdgr19, to see how i've done. Are there any other details to know? is there a website that maintains the league? is there a league fee?
ReplyDeletelittle known league rule... all aplicants must be a crappier manager than I am. For at least three seasons.
ReplyDeleteSweet! We're all set.
