Goose Joak Original 2010
by Goose Joak
If Goose Joak (circa 2009) and Fleer (circa 1987) had a child together, it might look something like this. So there you have it. This is the inaugural card for the 2010 Goose Joak set. The 2009 set was so incredibly fun to do.
By my count, we got to 904 cards. That's almost impossible, and by no means do I kid myself into thinking we can meet that again. If anything, I'm sure it will be toned down a bit this year.
But, a much overdue thank you to everyone who helped with the 2009 set. We had over 25 contributors, which was just amazing.
Nice. I really like the design.
ReplyDeleteLast year's set had over 900 cards? That's amazing. I wish I could volunteer to help out again this year, but I just don't think I'll be able to make the time commitment.
Whenever you have the templates done for the White Sox, send them over and we'll do it again this year! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks good man! I'll help out with the Reds again this year, just send me the files for it and as I get photos I'll make the cards.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! Are the borders all going to be the same color or will the teams be color coordinated? Either way, this card looks fantastic. I like how the border almost matches the color of Grienke's jersey.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing as Paul when I read your post- over 900 cards? I never would have guessed that.
I think the baby would come out looking a little more like Joakim, but this will do. By the way I've been thinking about it more and more and Ben Zobrist is a 4th round pick not a reach.
