Goose Joak Originals Update! Nearing 500...or already past?

As of the writing of this post, we're up to 484 Goose Joak Originals! That number doesn't even include 60 cardboard box cards (duplicate players, WBC and other concept cards), 45 Washington Nationals that Will did (many of which we can probably use to go along with Mike's upcoming cards), and over 30 other cards that are getting touchups or are on the way. Plus whatever is in development.

So, to everybody who has been involved in this project so far, I owe a huge thanks. The enthusiasm for and quality of these cards have been outstanding, beyond what I ever expected. It's obvious that inviting other baseball card fans to work on this project was the best thing I could have ever done with it. As I've said before, checking my email and my bloglist is like getting new packs of cards everyday. I've been really impressed with the quality of work and the passion for these cards.

Also, thanks to those who have enjoyed these cards from afar as well. It's the commentary and feedback that makes it so much fun to do these.

My count is off by four, so there must be four cards floating somewhere in my folders that haven't made it up to Picasa yet. I'll do another refresh soon, so no worries -- they'll be up soon!

Also, I have an updated list of contributors here. If you don't see your name on here, please let me know.

Look for more Goose Joak Originals as the season gets underway!

  1. 484 is really a lot. And it's only been about six months.
