Tribute to 1990 Bowman - Brad Hawpe

What's the difference between 1990 Bowman and 2007 Turkey Red? Faux paintings, seventeen years and about $2.00 a pack!

Okay, so maybe it's a little more than that. 1990 Bowman had some of the most questionable photography of all time.

But there's something charming about these cards. They're so cheap! And so bad! And...yeah! They made good bribes to seven year olds, though! Maybe that's why so many baseball cards from '90-'93 make me think of grocery stores.

Featured today is Brad Hawpe, a personal favorite of my wife.
